Re-Entry Stabilization, Transition, and Reintegration Track (RESTART)
CLOSING GAPS IN RE-ENTRY
In partnership with the Dutchess County Jail, Family Services provides mental health treatment and recovery services to people who are incarcerated. The RESTART program conducts regular groups with individuals who are at the highest risk of recidivism, with a Family Services therapist providing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Interactive Journaling, and Moral Reconation Therapy during incarceration and after release.
Our goal is to improve participants’ understanding of the ways their thoughts, behaviors, and experiences have influenced their actions, in turn encouraging them to seek healthier options.
