at Family Court
Our Children’s Center in Ulster County is Now Open!
Registration is required at all locations. Please arrive 5-10 minutes before your court appointment to complete an intake form.
You Have the Right to Growth and Opportunity
Finding childcare when dealing with court matters can be challenging, and we’re here to make that easier. Our Children’s Centers, located in the Dutchess, Orange, and Ulster County Family Court buildings, provide free, fun activities for your child so you can focus on serious matters.
This opportunity is available for children ages 6 weeks to 12 years, with a range of activities appealing across ages.
All of our services are free, accessible, and confidential.

What to Expect
Playful Programs
Your child has many options to have fun while in our space, including board games, computer games, arts & crafts projects, reading, snacks, and dramatic play.
Referrals and Resources
If you are seeking additional support, we can connect you with programs like childcare assistance, WIC, Medicaid, literacy programs, counseling, and other resources
For Community Members
We hope to provide resources to children and their families whenever we can. If you are interested in supporting our Children’s Center, we accept donations of clothing, books, toys, games, child-friendly DVDs, bottles/sippy cups, and craft materials.
