About the Family Partnership Center
Established in 1997, Family Services opened the Family Partnership Center to the public as a community center for people of all ages to come together for safety, support, and connection. With its rich history serving the public as both Poughkeepsie High School and Our Lady of Lourdes High School and its central location on the North Side of Poughkeepsie, our founders saw the building as an ideal space to offer accessible, mission-driven programming.
Now, the Family Partnership Center is home to over 20 organizations and businesses that partner under a shared mission of collaboration, community, and accessibility. Together, we offer both direct services and enrichment programs, such as food and housing support, mental health support, education and literacy programming, cultural events, recreation, and more. Our event spaces bustle with activity, with press gatherings, holiday events, basketball tournaments, remembrance ceremonies, and creative performances lighting up our halls and bringing our community together to find hope and joy. Most importantly, this building reduces barriers to wellness and ensures everyone can thrive.
