Bank of Millbrook

The Bank of Millbrook presented a tricky challenge. It is an appropriately conservative small town
bank that had not revisited its brand in a while. Perhaps not since the 1950s. We spent the first
month wandering through through town asking people about their experiences with the Bank. We
never expected everyone to be so positive, and the stories they told still influence our direction
years after the fact.

The stories we were told led to the tagline "The Strength of Relationships" – and the mark itself is a tapestry, representing the strength that comes from interwoven relationships in communities. We chose a font that reflects the arched windows of the main branch.

The website introduces actual employees of the Bank and tells what they do, reinforcing the importance of relationships.
